This showed that he still struggles because people critisizes him and so a lot of people dont respect him. Also it showed that he dosent dress like regular Americans because he is still in costome in how he used to dress before.
I think that he should just ignore what other people think of him and just keep on trying to get better in life. I think its good that he is trying his best to get a better life and not slaking.

This quote showed how not just in Ireland they really like potatos and so that probubly brange a lot of memories of his life in Ireland, when the good times of potato in Ireland and in the bad times.
It was funny how she said a meal isint a meal without potato and she isint even irish and also she was kind of drunk at the time when she was saying that.
Question #2: Do you think when he was about to eat the potato he is scared that he will die because of the decease in the potatoes in Ireland?

Quote #1: That is called persecution and he gets a lot of it. Frank is being made fun of because he is Irish, and Irish people were made fun of A LOT. I see why he want s to possibly go back to Ireland.
