Journal #9 perspective of boo radley. Chapters 28-31

I was on my couch laying down and I hear a girls voice so I looked out my window and I see scout and Jem walking home. I see both of them stop and I don't know why so I look behind them and I see a dark figure right behind and Jem yells to scout to run and I see the man running to scout and jem and when the man gets closer I see who it is and it was Bob Ewell and he graves Jem by the arm really tightly and hit him really hard. I run to the kitchen to get a knife and when I go out I see Bob Ewell squizing the life out of scout so I grave Bob Ewell and push him and stave him under the ribbs. I run straight to Jem to see if he is alright and I take Jem to their house and put him on the bed and stand in the corner because I was scared that scout won't like how I look and she will think I look like a monster and I also wanted to stay hidden. So the doctor came and checked out Jem and said "just a broken arm and a concussion" I was releaved that it was not anything serious. Then Atticus called sheriff Heck Tate to go and check the area if the man who did this was still around. A few minuts late sheriff Heck Tate comes in the room and looks at me while he was walking to Atticus and he looks away. The sheriff tells Atticus that no one was out their and that their was a dress out their and scout said it was hers, the sheriff looks at Jem for a little bit and assessment scout about everything that she witnessed. Scout tells Attics and the sheriff everything but when she finished the sheriff looked at me and said to scout, are you sure that Jem graved Bob Ewell and she said yes. So we go out to the porch and scout holds my hand and takes me to a seat and that was really kind of her but also shoked that she is not scared of me. The sheriff said that Bob Ewell is dead he was staved under the ribs, Atticus thinks that Jem allegedly staved Bob Ewell but The Sheriff thinks that Bob Ewell fell on his knife. So the sheriff says that eather way it is his decision to say what happened and he told Atticus all the evidence that he fell on the knife and he left. Atticus consented and told scout that what the sheriff said was true, Scout takes me inside holding my hand and ask me if I want to see Jem and I squiz her hand to tell her yes because I did not want to talk. When we get to Jems room scout tells me that I can pet him. I went up to Jem and touched his hair and looked at him because it reminded me of when I was his age and when I was in that gang and I new Jem will succeed in life so I squiz scouts hand tighter to tell her I want to leave so she takes me to my house and I back inside my house.

Journal #7, perspective of Aunt Alexandra, chapters 20-24

It has been hours since me and Calpurnia have been looking for Jem, scout and Dill, I am really worried were they are but at the same time I am beyond mad and disappointed with all of them. I send Calpurnia to give Atticus a letter that I wrote that says that the kids are missing, So Calpurnia dose not interrupt Atticus in his court case. I go and try to find the kids looking at every possible place that they can be. I was out looking for them for about an hour, when I come back to the house I see Calpurnia out of her mind mad and I yell at them because I had no idea were they were and when they told me they were at the court house listening to the court case and that Atticus said that they can go back after they eat, I almost fainted from that. I did not know what to do with this kids they were persecuted. When we were at the dinner table I was sad because I failed to take care of them and that Atticus is probably disappointed with me. I see Calpurnia serving them food saying "ashamed of yourself s," I had nothing to say, I told them to eat slow and they can go back to the court house. The table was quiet, Calpurnia still looked enraged and the kids looked pursuits. When they were finished they left and went back to the court house and I cleaned the table and washed the dishes. One day in august I invite some of my missionaries over for tea, scout and Calpurnia help bring in the tea witch was nice of them so I invite scout to stay with me and my friends. The first thing we talk about is a african tribe being converted to Christianity and that their own black servents have behaved bad since the Tom Robinson case. Then Atticus calls me to the kitchen and I was obliviouse that he wanted to talk to me, so I go to the kitchen and Scout, Calpurnia, and Miss Maudie were their and Atticus tells us that Tom Robinson tried to escape and was shot seven times, once I herd that I new it was inevitable. Atticus takes Calpurnia to tell Tom Robinsons family and I ask Ms. Maudie how the town can allow Atticus to wreck himself in pursuit of justice. Maudie says that the town trusts him to do right and I kind of consented.

Journal #6, perspective of Bob Ewell- chapters 16-19

Today was the day I had to go to the court house and testify against Tom Robinson the allegedly, the nigger who raped my daughter. I wanted that man to go o jail for the rest of his life because of what he did to my daughter. So when I get their the court room was as bright as day, and as hot as a bakery oven. So when the court case started the nigger lover called up the sheriff. So Atticus started asking irrelevant questions to the sheriff for a little bit and I thought that he was as dumb as a stack of peanuts. So then he started asking questions about the the what had happened to my daughter, and Atticus was asking harder and harder questions to the sheriff, but he was using a technique to get information out of the sheriff, so when Mr.Gilmer would ask a question he would be oblivious that he is asking the same question that Atticus asked the sheriff. When the sheriff was finished, Mr. Gilmer called me up too the stand and when I got their I didi not really care about them asking me questions. Mr.Gilmer started off asking me if I was the father of Mayella Ewell and to me that sounded like a dumb question so I said "well if I aint I cant do anything about it now, her ma's dead. Once I said that the judge looked benignly at me so when Mr.Gilmer asked the question again I said "yes". So then Mr. Gilmer asked me what happened in my own words on the evening of November twenty-first, I said that I was in the woods duing some hunting and I was coming back and I her Mayella scream like crazy so I was running to the house but the fence was blocking me from going to her and I saw some struggle between a man and Mayella and so I went over the gate and I saw, and I pointed to Tom Robinson and said, "that was the nigger who I saw running out of my house and so I started running after him but he was too fast so I ran back to my house and called the sheriff to tell him what had happened." Now it was Mr. Atticu's turn to aske me question. His first question was "did you witness Tom Robinson have sexual intercourse with your daughter " I sad "yes" but once I said that I saw Tom get up but then Atticus whispered something in his ear and Tom sat right back down. Atticus started asking me about how far I was from the window and if I had a clear view of the room and I said yes. The he asked me "do you remember the injury's of your daughter and I consented. So I had to explain all of the injury's that Mayella had so the last injury I said he asked me,"did she get hit in the right eye or the left and I said "she got punched with his left hand and hit her on her right eye." Atticus then asked me if I can read and right and I said "of coarse" and people thought that it was improbable that I can right my name but I did and prooved them wrong and wrote my name with my left hand and Mr.gilmer asked me if I can right with both hands and I said no. Then when I was about to leave the stand Atticus wants to ask me one more question, He asks "you did a lot of running that evening, how come you did not run to get a doctor," I said "wadn't no need, I seen what had happened." He asks me " but theirs one thing I don't understand why weren't you concerned with Mayella's conditions." I said " I most positively was," Atticus says "No I mean her conditions, did you not think the nature of her injuries warranted immediate medical attention?" Atticus kept on asking me the same question and I was getting nervouse about the question so then my time was up and I went out of the the witness stand and sat back down with everybody else.

Journal #5- CHapters 13-15 from the perspective of Dill

During the summer I always felt antagonize because my parents are always at work and don't
have time to play with me or be with me, and when they are home they go in their room and
read and ignore me. So one day I decided to go to my finance's house to stay for a while. So I
stole 13 dollars out of my moms purse so I can buy a ticket. So then I went to the train station
and he went on the 9:00 o clock train. When I got to Maycomb junction I walked 11 of 14 miles to Maycomb. I rode the rest of the way to Maycomb on a cotton wagon. When I got to scouts house I snuck in the house with everyone oblivious of me going inside the house, and I went underneath scouts bed to hide. I was under the bed for 2 hours, I was pretty sure that that they were in the dinning room because I herd utensils clinging and conversations coming from the dining room and it drove me crazy. I was thinking of emerging from underneath the bed. So then scout goes in the room, and I am trying to be as quiet so I tried to acquired my voice so she does not know I am here but then she steps on me and she runs and tells Jem that their is a snake underneath her bed. Jem brings a broom and hits me and I get up. So then Jem tells Atticus that I am here and Atticus come to me and tells me I look really hungry, so he gives me food and he tells scout and Jem to give me clothes. In the beginning I thought that they werenot gonna let me stay and Atticus would freak but it was pretty good. So then one night a bunch of people came to the house and the sheriff was talking to Atticus about the case with Tom Robinson and he and the people were trying to convince him to not take the case, but Atticus wouldn't listen to them and still was taking the case. So then their was another group that said that they were gonna kill Tom Robinson. So Atticus send me, Jem and scout to bed and said that he was going somewhere. So then when he left we fallowed him all the way to the county Jail. Atticus was Oblivious of us being with him. So later the group that wanted to kill Tom Robinson but when they got their scout notices someone and it was Walter cunningham and she toold him that about his son and how hes a good boy and then they leave and Atticus is by Tom Robinson.

Journal #4 chapters 10-12 from perspective of Calpernia

Dear diary, One morning I was cleaning the dishes then Jem and scout tell me that their is a dog outside and so I tell them to scare it off, but then they tell me it looks sick and so I went outside to check the dog out but then the dog looked dangerous so then I tell the kids to go in side. I start running around town and telling everyone that their is a mad dog, then she calls the 911 operator to tell the sheriff that their is a mad dog on the loose. So then I went back to the kids because they can be in serious Peril. When I got home the sheriff came in the house and told me to watch out from the mad do. So the sheriff starts running after the mad dog and I stay with the kids just in case the dog comes back. Later I find out that Atticus killed the mad dog. The next day I found about that Jem got in trouble so he had to go to Ms.Dubose's house and read to her and I thought it was a good idea because that poor lady is always by herself so it will be good to give her company. Then one day Jem comes to the house and says he is finished reading to Ms.Dubose. The next day Atticus tell everyone that he is going to Ms.Dubose's house for a while. It suprised me how long he was over their but when he came back he told us that Ms.Dubose died a few minutes ago, I was really sad but glad that she is not suffering anymore. I saw Jem's face when Atticus said that and he was really shocked, so when Atticus showed Jem a gift that Ms.Dubo gave Jem before she died and I thought that was really Pensive of her.
The next day Atticus had to leave and so scout and Jem were by them selfs and so I asked them if they were going to church and they said no because they don't due anything their anyways, so I was thinking that they should come with me so they can experience how our church works and is. So then I tell them and they seem alright about it. The first thing I wanted to do before we went to church I gave scout and Jem baths because I want them to look nice and not ugly, so then I gave scout a dress so she would look like a true lady and a suit for Jem so he can look like a gentlemen. So when we got their everyone started standing up and taking off their hats because of what Atticus is dewing, but then out of the crowed I hear "what have you been up too cal" and I new who it was, it was Lula. I see Lula coming to me and starts tormenting me about why I brought white kids to a black church and that this church is meant for black people only, and I was amused of her but then she stops and walks away so we take a seat and wait for church to start, but Scout ask me were are the books for the songs and I tell her to be quiet. So then I see the Zeebo making the morning announcements. Then he come out in the middle and starts singing to us but when I looked at scout and Jem they seemed confused. When that was over we had to go donate money but when everyone did Zeebo said we need $10 for Toms wife nedds the money for food because she cant get a job, so Zeebo tells a man to lock the doors and it irked me, Zeebo tells the people who don't have children to make a sacrifice and give a little bit more money, and so people do and it was time to leave and so I was trying to be evasion from Lula and we made it.

Journal #3 chapters 8-9

Perspective of Atticus
It was the craziest weather here in maycomb because it was crazy weather and their hanst been weather like this since 1885. Mr Avery told me a possibly why their is strange weather right now, he said that it was written in the rosstta stone that when children disobeyed their parents, smoked cigarettes and made war on each other, the seasons would change. I thought that was nonsense and that was not true. During that winter Mrs.Radley died and that was really tragic. So I whent to the Radleys house to check how she died and it seemed natural, so when I came back home scout and Jem waned to know how she died and I told them it was a natural death.Then I saw Jem and scout whispering and I wanted to know what they where talking about so I was about to listen then they ask me "did you see Mr.Arthur?" When they said that I was curriouse why they wanted to know and I said no. So then they left and a few minuets later scout screams and I run right out of the bathroom with shaving cream on half of my face and scout says the world is ending and so I dragged scout to the window and showed her that the world is not ending and that it is snowing even though I have never scene snow before I new what it looked like. We went to eat breakfast and the phone reang and I left to pick it up and it was Eula May and so I told Jem and scout that because it has not snowed since 1885 their will not be any school today. I told scout and Jem that to not be disappointed if their is not enough snow to have a snow ball fight.I saw the front and back yard clean and finish and I told them that they did a good job. Then one time it got really cold and so we went to calpurnias house because we have been ACQUAINTED before because if we did not know her it would have been really weird. We wanted to see if we can stay at her house because she would usually have her fire place blazing hot. In that night I had to go to scout and Jems room to make their fire stronger but it was still freezing cold, it was 16 degrees fa reign hite. The next day we went home and I found out that I am taking the case that I wanted so I told scout to not fight other people because they talk about me wrong just ignore them, scout wanted to know what was the case and I told her that I was defending a negro and that people in the past have failed to do this and this is my most important case to me, so I ENTRUSTED scout to not get in fight and to be good.

Journal #1- Chapters 1-3 from the perspective of boo

I have been here at Maycomb, ALabama for years and I have never made a friend because everyone think I am some kind of monster, so each time I would even think about opening my door I would always see people running to their houses and running away so that would motivate me less to go out of my house, so because of that people have made stories about how i look and what i eat. But the mane reason why people are scared of me because one day I was knitting in the living room cutting some items from the maycomb tribune to paste in my scrapbook. Meanwhile my dad coming to the living room, and as my dad passes by I accidentally drove my scissors into his leg, then I pulled it out really fast, wiped them on my pants and kept on cutting. My mom after what had happened running out side yelling that I am killing them all. Then a few minuets later the sheriff came in the room and saw me cutting the Maycomb tribune. So later i found out I wasn't charged with anything but I was locked courthouse basement it was really dark and cold.

One day I was at my house and i herd kids talking and so i got closer to the window and i saw Jean Louse, Jeremy Atticus and charles Baker talking about walking up to my house and touching it and I was irked because people had to dare each other just to come touch my door or ring the door bell. Then I herd them talking about how I look and and so then they left and they came the next day I saw them again talking, then I saw Jem coming to my gate and running to the side of my house and touched and then ran back really fast and then they saw me looking at them so I stood still, and they ran away.
